What information does IIAT collect?

The information we learn from visitors helps us personalize and improve your experience on the Online Services.

Aggregate Information: We collect non-personal information about you to measure traffic using Online Services. Information Provided to Third Parties: As mentioned above, information provided to Online Services may be shared with others. This information will only be provided to third parties in the manner specified in this Policy. Those who do not want their information to be shared, should withhold this information.

  • To third parties that provide services to us in connection with our business operations and that have agreed to keep the information confidential, including, but not limited to, third parties that provide association related systems and payment processing services;
  • To IIABA (Independent Insurance Agents of America) with business and personal information on IIAT members.
  • To websites in the form of search engines, including Name, Address, Phone, Contact, and email for the express purposes of providing the public a way to access an Independent Insurance Agent who is a member of IIAT and IIABA;
  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or to comply with government reporting obligations;
  • When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary (a) to protect our rights, the integrity of the Online Services, or your safety or the safety of others, or (b) to detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, intellectual property infringement, violations of our Terms and Conditions, violations of law, or other misuse of the Online Services; and
